Students Ages 8 - 17:

Students Ages 5 - 7:
Will be taken through a journey of Technology Discovery where they will learn how technology products are created, concepts that power tech gadgets and making of tech prototypes and projects that will center around:

Close-Out & Prize Giving Event:
At the end of the camp, students will showcase their designs and prototypes to the Media, Parents, Friends, Invited Guests, Event Supporters, Tech Community etc at a close-out event tagged "Young Inventors Tech Expo 2017", where various prizes will be won by the best prototypes in various categories.
Young Inventors Summer Camp is Nigeria's #1 Tech Event for Children.
In this course, students will be experiencing and learning the production, design and coding process of Mobile Game Design, where they will create their own Mobile Games.
Microcontrollers will be based on Arduino which is used in over 300 Universities world wide. Center4tech students will learn digital and analogue input and output and the application and wiring of Sensors (Motion, Light, Temperature, Tilt Sensors), DC Motors, LCD Display and more to design and test real life circuits and products. Students will also write codes/programmes based on C/C++ and Processing to give logic commands to the Microcontroller.
Whether you're completely new to 3D game development but you have experience developing 2D games, this course is for you. Beginners can start with the basics of the Unity system with an explanation of how it works. This isn't an explanation of what each menu does one by one (that's boring), but a high level explanation of how the software functions from the perspective of a first time game developer. You'll then take that knowledge and build your first real game.
This course is designed for returning students of Center4Tech Young Inventors Summer Camp or students who are familiar with basic Electronics and Arduino C++ programming. The main focus of this course is to introduce intermediate level electronics design and programming in C++ to participants with the aim of creating intermediate projects that use Wireless communications components.
Mobile App Development Training is a crash course bootcamp style and provides an opportunity to learn various mobile application development frameworks that run on the mobile platforms and the Internet. Learn relevant skills and develop an understanding of the issues surrounding the Mobile Platforms and SDKs including: iOS, Android, HTML5 Mobile Web, JQuery Mobile, PhoneGap, and Windows Phone .
This course provides students with the principles of animation. Student will learn design concepts such as squash and stretch, timing, path of action, anticipation, action-reaction, weight, volume, and staging. This course will also develop the student's animation design sense, with exercises in character design. The student will also learn technical skills to produce animation, such as how to flip and draw, and how to film animation using Light boxes & using punch sheets. Skills learned will be applied throughout the Digital Animation Program.
This is a complementary course for all students participating in Young Inventors Summer Camp 2016. In this course, students will be exposed to Drone programming. Students will programme and fly the drone to achieve a set objectives
This course offers technical rudiments of television and film production: principles and methods of creative visualization; use of camera, movement; basics of photography, lighting and visual manipulation. Students not only learn to operate modern industry High Definition (HD) cameras or editing visuals, but also learn all the intricacies behind the production of TV Programmes, Films, News, Commercials, Interviews, Documentaries, etc.
This is a bonus course for all participants of Young Inventors Summer Camp 2016. This course intended to introduce students to the whole area of energy sustainability and renewable energy technologies.Students will learn the difference between renewable and non-renewable energy sources. and understand the advantages of renewable energy sources.
This course introduces students to basic web design using HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). Students will learn how to plan and design effective web pages using HTML and CSS codes;. This course will be taught by professionals and will be 100% hands-on.
Center4Tech Young Inventors Summer Camp 2017 Tech Discovery course for kids will give your child the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering and math with fun, hands-on activities with a focus on learning. The programme will stimulate their own natural curiosity to make discoveries and to explore.
