Center4Tech 3D Design & Modelling Course is designed for Architects, Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Piping Engineers, Metallurgical Engineers involved in designing and modelling their ideas in 3D, as well as Graphic Artists or anyone involved in Filmmaking, Games Developing & Animation. It is an ideal introduction for both professionals and students who want to learn more about 3D software programs or 3D modelling.
In this training we'll use a project-based approach as we cover the basics of modeling, look at commonly used tools, and talk about some time-saving tips and techniques in 3D Modelling Software.
We'll begin by looking at polygon geometry and learn about its different components. You'll learn how to organize your model into hierarchies and keep your scene clean and efficient. Well also take a look at multiple modeling tools, including Extrude and the Loop Cut and Slide for adding resolution, Inset, and Bevel. Well take a look at using a smoothing or subdivision workflow and use modifiers to help shape our models and work symmetrically. Were going to take a slightly different approach to this introduction training, in that we're not going to talk about all of the modeling tools, but rather focus on the tools that you're going to find most useful as you begin the modeling process.
Once you have a better understanding of how these tools work together, youll be able to create your own modeling solutions and really come up with a workflow thats comfortable to you.
Our 3D Design & Modelling course does not have formal entry requirements, however, we do expect students to be comfortable using a computer and students will find a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop an advantage. A good understanding of spoken English is essential.
